RECLUSE: Vertical Snags North American Rights to Henry Chaisson's Festival Hit

Vertical has officially landed the North American rights to Recluse, the buzzy psychological horror film from writer/director Henry Chaisson and veteran genre producer Steven Schneider. Fresh off a stellar festival run with strong critical and audience reactions at Tribeca, Fantasia, and FrightFest, the atmospheric thriller has locked in a theatrical release for the first half of 2027. Recluse stars Sasha Frolova as a young woman digging into her family's dark, tragic history through a series of mysterious audio recordings. SILVER SCREAMERS: Festival Favorite Snagged by The Horror Collective, Debuts on BloodStream Next Month

The Horror Collective just picked up the U.S. rights to Sean Cisterna’s documentary Silver Screamers, and it’s hitting the streaming service BloodStream on November 6. The film follows a group of senior citizens who decide to step out of their comfort zones and make their own low-budget horror movie. AMC Global Media have announced that the Crypt Keeper, the iconic host from the Tales of the Crypt franchise, will host the 30th Anniversary celebration of their annual Fearfest. Horror veteran Greg Nicotero is directing new Crypt Keeper segments for the marathon, bringing fresh content (as fresh as a ghoul can be) from the classic character back to the screen.
